Principles of Play
with the team

Here are our play enthusiasts  Inspiring Children through the process of play.  Their passion and enthusiasm to see play brought back into the lives of our little humans goes beyond the realm of basic childcare.
Lets get to know Inspire Children Team
Chenise

I'm a kind, caring, passionate person that loves people, also I'm a mother to one. As I watching him grow it's upsetting knowing there is hardly no youth or after school clubs and almost no sense of community anymore.
As a child me and many of my friends enjoyed going to youth/after school clubs socialising learning life skills and other things that we did not get taught in school.

This is one of many reason I work at Inspire Children
to learn new skills and share the skills I have to help bring back the community feel and help teach and guide children to focus on their strengths and
grow into happy healthy human beings as it takes a village to raise a child .
 Melanie

 Haleema
Hi My name is Haleema A I’m a Play Assistant at Lets Inspire - Inspire Children.
I am a friendly and caring person, I have recently completed my level 1 and 2 childcare at collage and also completed my level 3 teaching assistant course.
I love working with children helping them learn new things, how to complete homework equations to learning to build with Lego bricks. I like to see and help children overcome their stepping stones . I like to get involved with the children, for example when we go to the parks playing football and basketball with them keeps me and them involved in play together, children are really fun to work. I also babysit my niece and nephew on weekends and do baking and arts and crafts making the best of the time I have with them. It would be a pleasure to work with your children.

Now that you have got to know our team a little bit lets take a look into some of the principles of play. We have purposely called our provision play care as that is exactly what we aim to do.  Play! play! play! underpinned by offering exceptional care!

We are proud to say that we are members of Play England and aim to work toward and exceed the play work principles as set.

play Work England (2019) indicate;

"After school ‘critical window’

The evaluation of Play England’s Street Play project found that the hours between 3:30pm and 6pm on weekdays are the ‘critical window’ for children’s physical activity and it is during this time when differences in weekday physical activity between low and high active children and non-obese and obese children are greatest. Currently only 13% of 10 and 11 year old children are outdoors and active during this time.

Play is a child’s human right

Play is so important to children’s development it is recognized by the United Nations. Article 31 of the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) states: ‘Children have the right to relax and play, and to join in a wide range of cultural, artistic and other recreational activities’."
Inspire Children Paly provision

The team set out to develop their skills in play work and discuss the importance of play work principles children should have.
